On Thursday, October 16, 2014, World Food Day, experts and implementers came from 16 states and 7 countries to elevate the dialogue around food waste. Click here to view the entire program, including sponsors. There were filmmakers (for the U.S. premiere of Just Eat It), governments of all types, materials managements haulers, consultants, associations, non-profits, food rescue groups, students, grocers, restaurants, academics, and volunteers, all with the goal of zero food waste. We even had food that was mostly recovered thanks to the amazing work of Food Shift with assistance from FallingFruit.org. See below for beautiful images from the inspiring day.
